HubSpot Platinum Partner · Technical Migration, Configuration, and Onboarding
This page is for those of you who are leaving Salesforce and want to know how the migration works.
At Leadfront, we help companies migrate from Salesforce to HubSpot, among other platforms. We handle the technical migration of data and history, set up and configure HubSpot to fit your workflow, and ensure that your Salesforce users get off to a smooth start with their new CRM.
A successful CRM migration is rarely about transferring everything; it’s about transferring the right things.
A system migration is one of the few occasions when old data can be left behind without question, and much of what has been accumulated over the years isn’t worth moving. Fields that no one has filled out in years, lists that no one opens, and duplicates that have never been cleaned up are the most common examples. You simply get a chance to start over where it makes sense to do so.
Where to draw the line isn’t decided now, but later in the process, when we go through what you have, what you actually use, and what needs to be carried over.
If you have an accounting system, an order management system, a contract signing solution, or a website that’s integrated with your CRM, we can include it as part of the project.
Leadfront builds its own integrations and doesn’t just configure off-the-shelf connectors. A system without a ready-made app in the HubSpot Marketplace is no obstacle for us.
Every company is different, so the approach is tailored to some extent, but we always start with our standard workflow.
We'll take a close look at how you work today, what needs to be carried over, and what can be left behind.
We develop detailed plans once the project is scheduled for completion. We ensure that we stay on schedule.
The data will be transferred, and we'll make sure that everything we've agreed upon is included in HubSpot.
The teams are being trained on HubSpot before the migration is complete. Sales, marketing, and customer service all have different needs, so the training is tailored to how each team uses the system.
Once the teams are fully up and running in the system, questions will arise, and we’ll be available—either digitally or in person—to help ensure a smooth transition.
We will conclude the project with an evaluation of our collaboration.
After the launch, we continue to support the teams, and the work transitions into an ongoing collaboration. The scope of this support depends on the plan you’ve chosen.
HubSpot may technically be in place but still go unused.
That’s why training and onboarding are two separate processes for us. Training takes place before the migration, so that teams have time to understand the system before the old one is shut down. Onboarding begins once the system is up and running and the real questions arise issues that only become apparent during actual use.
You’ll see a return on your investment once you start using the system the way it was actually meant to be used.
The type of assistance you'll need depends on the volume of data to be imported, the number of teams to be added to the system, and the level of support you'd like after launch. We recommend the "Medium" plan as a starting point.

Questions about switching from Salesforce to HubSpot.
Yes. Contacts, companies, business operations, and related activities are transferred. However, not everything needs to be included. The discovery phase determines what should be included and what is worth leaving behind.
If you have integrations with other systems, they will be rebuilt. One integration is coded for the old system and cannot be moved, so we’ll review which ones need to be carried over and rebuild them for HubSpot. If you don’t have any integrations, the project will be simpler.
Medium is the starting point for most people. Small is suitable for those with a high level of in-house expertise and the resources to see the onboarding process through to completion. Large is suitable when multiple systems are integrated with the CRM and you want to continue developing HubSpot after the switch.
To put it simply, you could say it depends on what costs you the most: time or risk. A CRM migration can be carried out quickly but with greater risk, or planned out over a longer period of time. The best migrations strike a balance between these two factors: risk and time.
On the cut-off date, which is the last day of work under the old system. The date is specified in the schedule.
It depends on the plan. The Medium and Large plans include support for the first few months, with a set number of hours per month. The Large plan also includes proactive further development, meaning that we continue to expand HubSpot after the migration is complete. We’re available whenever questions arise, either remotely or on-site.
The scope and price are determined based on your needs and preferences.
You don’t need to have all the answers before you reach out. It’s enough that you know what you’re doing today.
We’ll go over how you’re working today, what needs to be included, and which of the three approaches is the best fit. After that, you’ll know what a transition will require from your teams.
