Ahead of Dreamforce 2024 - Leadfront

The Salesforce event Dreamforce in San Francisco is almost here! More than 180,000 people from 143 different countries will be on site with 1500 different sessions to dive into. Among others, Pink and Imagine Dragons and lots of business leaders will be at the event.

We at Leadfront will follow the event live via Salesforce+, which is Salesforce's own streaming platform (completely free).

During Dreamforce, a number of different topics will be discussed, but the speculation is that it will be AI focused this year. Salesforce has since 2016 released a lot of different AI features for their various Cloud solutions. Not long ago, they came out with generative AI capabilities via Einstein Copilot. This add-on feature gives Salesforce customers the ability to generate answers to questions, text for mailings, insights, and predictions for the future (Forecast etc.) A large part of this year's Dreamforce will focus on Einstein Copilot Builder and what you as a Salesforce customer can do with that tool.

Salesforce AI focus became even clearer just a week ago when they released a new certification: AI Specialist. The new certificate focuses on the newer Einstein features in Salesforce, Einstein Co-Pilot and Einstein Prompt Builder. The certificate is aimed at Salesforce developers who implement AI functionality at Salesforce customers.

The hope is that Salesforce will come out with something revolutionary in the AI world, so far Salesforce is following the AI trend and 'plugging in' functionality that is available from other companies.

  • Generative Text (Generate email, text, etc)

  • AI Assistance (ChatGPT like)

  • Assumptions according to available data (Draw conclusions and predict changes for the future)

  • Suggested activities/next steps based on available data

  • Trend analysis on available data

Salesforce is always at the forefront of available CRM tools and their development, and they are still considered to be ahead of the competition.

One of Salesforce's biggest advantages is the common database for different purposes: sales, customer service, marketing, analytics, collaboration, commercial and much more. So what can you do with that capacity in a database when it comes to AI? So far, we haven't seen anything particularly revolutionary, but it's more that Salesforce is taking/remaking AI from other companies. Could it be functionality with AI crosscloud that they are working on?

Einstein Prompt Builder and Einstein Co-Pilot seem to be in focus during Dreamforce this year.

Tips for the event

Since there is so much content to choose from (1500+ sessions), it can be difficult to choose what to watch. Therefore, it is important to decide what is most important to you before the event starts.

Try to answer the following questions:

  • Which Cloud am I most interested in?

  • Is there a problem or an improvement that my company is looking for?

Efficiency? Data quality?

If you are interested in the event or have follow-up questions on something you saw during Dreamforce, don't hesitate to contact us at Leadfront and we can help you utilize Salesforce to a greater extent and get new features up and running!
